Bam Aquino Vows Full Support for Bacolod’s Development Programs in Visit with Gov. Bong Lacson

Senator Bam Aquino expressed his full support for the development initiatives of Negros Occidental during his visit to Bacolod City earlier today, where he met with Governor Bong Lacson and various local officials.

“Madamo gid nga salamat, Gov. Bong Lacson, at sa lahat ng lingkod-bayan na nakasama natin sa pagbisita ngayong umaga,” Aquino said in a message posted online following the engagement.

Aquino, a long-time advocate for inclusive growth and education reform, assured Bacolodnons that he stands firmly behind programs that promote economic progress, social welfare, and youth empowerment in the region.

“Makakaasa ang mga Bacolodnon — buo ang suporta natin sa mga adhikain at programang makatutulong sa pag-unlad ng inyong probinsya. Padayon!” he added.

While no specific projects were announced during the visit, sources from the local government said discussions included education initiatives, digital access expansion, and support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the province.

Aquino’s visit is part of his broader effort to build stronger collaboration between national and local governments, especially in key growth regions like Negros Occidental.
