Worried about missing s56 deadline - please help!

Hey everyone,

I recently received an S56 request asking for an updated international police check and evidence of genuine employment.

Unfortunately, my migration agent sent the request to my work email while I was on vacation, and I didn’t have access to it at the time. I only saw the email about 10 days later.

I started working on it immediately, but there’s a lot of confusion right now because Vietnam is undergoing changes in its government structure, so things are taking longer than usual. I’m worried I might not be able to meet the s56 deadline.

My agent has already emailed the department requesting an extension, but I’m not sure if that will negatively impact the outcome or decision from the case officer.
