Worth applying this cycle with weak ECs?
For context, I am going into my fourth year of honors life sci. I want to apply to Western, Queen's, and TMU. Queen's is a lottery and TMU is whatever so I'll take my chances with those. But for Western, I am SWOMEN and my MCAT score should reach the thresholds. But my wGPA will be a low 3.8 (my cGPA is cooked, 3.65). And my extracurriculars are not very impressive to be honest. And most of the ECs I have are new, like started under a month ago. I don't know if it's worth bothering for verifiers and references at this point.
If I wait a year, I predict my wGPA to be at least a high 3.8/low 3.9 and my extracurriculars will be much better. I'll also have many more hours and verifiers. So should I apply this cycle or just wait until the next cycle?
