[27M] Looking to make lasting friendships

I am looking to make good friends that I click with. That comes with a no-ghost guarantee. I will always reply to your messages (although I am sometimes preoccupied, so it will not always be an immediate reply).

First and foremost, I consider myself an independent person. I have always strived towards building my own path. My dream is to live a free and adventurous lifestyle where I can focus on self-development. My progress towards my goal has been hard-earned. I started business school a couple of years ago after finally getting an opportunity to build my own college fund. Prior to that, I worked as a barbecue pitmaster (the guy at a bbq restaurant in charge of the smokehouse). I live in NC, USA.

I love old music, old movies, old shows, and old games -- and sometimes old books :p.

• I have listened to thousands of albums and consider myself a pretty experienced music listener. I play piano and synthesizer.

• My favorite games are Crash Bandicoot, classic WoW, and LOTRO. I no longer play MMOs, but I would be willing to get back into them if I had someone to play with. I mostly play non-MMO games nowadays.

• My favorite books are Lord of the Rings and Water Margin.

I like to read about history, philosophy, and science. I know a little bit here and there about a lot of different things and places.

I like to hike and lift. I used to do martial arts, mountain bikes, and dirt bikes, and I plan on getting back into that stuff eventually. I love traveling and have been all over Italy.
