All humans are 99% genetically identical. So when we say to someone, “We don’t have anything in common,” perhaps we’re just not looking hard enough.

I’m taking the time to dig deeper to find my common secret person—someone with whom I can share cooking tips, discover hidden TV gems, or simply lay in the sun watching the clouds float by.
