Reasonable upgrade from RTX 2070 (and potentially Ryzen 5 2600x)?
My RTX 2070 recently gave out, so I've been looking into an upgrade. Unfortunately, I'm finding myself completely lost. I would love any guidance on possible options! Willing to spend up to $500.
Current Build:
-
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core
-
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce® RTX 2070 Advanced Overclocked 8G GDDR6
-
Mobo: ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4
-
PSU: Corsair RM650x (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX
-
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
-
SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5"
-
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM
A friend chose the parts for this build years ago, as I was and still am really unfamiliar in that aspect of PC building. I'd appreciate any extra advice/pointers not limited to GPU!
