Can someone explain to me how supercharger works?

I recently got more into using the exchange and I’m not sure how the supercharger works. Do they give you an increasing reward depending upon how long you keep your assets locked up during the charging period or do you get the same amount distributed equally to everybody who’s in the pool at the time that the event closes like how is that determined?
