My wife thinks being a reddit mod is a full time job
I’m currently the only one in the house with a paying job, working full-time and covering all our bills. My wife has been out of work for a while now, and I initially thought she’d use the time to job hunt, take a course, or at least rest before getting back into the workforce. Instead, she’s devoted herself almost entirely to Reddit moderation. She spends hours each day reviewing reports, managing modmail, and participating in mod meetings on Discord. She refers to it as work and often tells me she’s “too busy with mod stuff” to help around the house or even talk about finances.
