Mother Denim - Yay or Nay

I ordered some mother jeans I got for a steal, and while 100% cotton they are not as thick as I expected. Fit beautifully well however I don't know how they wear. I'm concerned being a little thinner they will really show the wear creases after periods of sitting down and loosen up which I hate. I also hate stretchy denim (ofc!)

Ever been in my sitch before? Did you hate them later?
