Leash training?

Our BMC is 3. She's mellowed out a lot, she's an excellent dog. But I have yet to figure out how to walk with her on a leash. She's incredibly stubborn and treats don't catch her attention when we're en route. I've tried the whole "stop until they quit pulling" thing.
