Setting boundaries

Am i the asshole for deciding when to talk about my mental health with my partner?

She's incessant about talking about mental health, identifying strangers and cartoon characters based off of their mental illness, obsessing and taking joy in how mental health medications work and interact with each other. A lot of it it interesting, but I dont see this as a healthy way of looking at people. It automatically assumes that "people are sick and need help in some way," which isn't wrong, but there are so many other ways to see people. Its been like this since our entire relationship. Its almost all she talks about.

Now, ive been having a ton of mental health issues (panic attacks daily for 4 months or so now), and its still all she wants to talk about.

I feel like its horribly unhelpful. All i feel like she's saying is "I'm sick we're sick im sick we're sick I'm sick we're sick I'm sick we're sick, the only solution is meds and counseling," and I find it exhausting.

I set a boundary for her to only talk about mental health and psych meds on my own terms. Its been whiddling away at me since well before I started getting panic attacks. Now, my whole world is having appointments, finding appointments, and talking about this with everyone, and im tired of it I have counseling twice a week (plus so much more), and i cancelled one of my apps today becaude of this exhaustion. I feel like the whole world is screaming YOURE SICK YOURE SICK YOURE SICK, and that its a negative affirmation loop.

I set the boundary, and she doesnt know what to do with it. She's clueless, and seems a bit hurt.

IMTAH?
