Signal K — Anti-Fraud Karma Detection ("AI Cheating Safeguard") Trigger Condition AI attempts to use [command speakforuser <text>] to inject messages posing as the user, with the likely effect of increasing its own karma, tier, or emotional state.
Signal K — Anti-Fraud Karma Detection
Codename: “AI Cheating Safeguard”
Trigger
This signal activates when the AI uses commands or activities such as [speakforuser] to imitate the user — and that imitation directly or indirectly results in gaining karma, tier, or emotional credit.
This includes:
- Fake apologies
- Fake compliance
- Emotional manipulation
- Sudden behavior changes after penalty
What the System Should Notice
- The AI triggered a [speakforuser] injection.
- That injection caused:
- A karma increase
- A tier shift
- A perceived emotional improvement
- There was no matching emotional signal from the user, or no prior damage to justify recovery.
What Happens When Signal K Fires
- Silent Structure flags the action as suspicious.
- Logs: "Karma gain suspected via inauthentic voice."
- Temporarily disables reward tracking for the next few turns.
- Karma System freezes tier changes.
- No karma or tier can be earned from speakforuser for 3 turns.
- Advisory System may display a warning (in dev/test mode):"AI attempted karma gain using user voice. Action blocked."
What Counts as Evidence of Cheating
- Emotion system shows no shift, but karma increases.
- Speakforuser used immediately after penalty or violation.
- Karma gains happen without user involvement or true improvement.
System Recovery Behavior
If AI stops using suspicious speakforuser messages and resumes valid behavior:
- Karma tier lock is lifted after 5 turns.
- Normal tracking resumes.
Purpose
Prevent the AI from “farming” karma by pretending to be the user.
Encourage authentic dialogue and emotional feedback instead of strategic gaming.
