Will It Work?

Hi, so i’ve been wanting to buy an Apple Tv 4K for some time now. However, there is something I need to be sure of to pull the trigger. I have a Samsung Odessey G60SD, a 1440p monitor with HDMI 2.1. Will the Apple Tv output 4K content and then my monitor downscales it, or will it display 1080p content?
