Back-to-back stomach viruses?

A few weeks ago I (26 female) got hit with what I assumed was food poisoning but now I’m thinking may have been a stomach bug: sudden intense nausea, feeling lightheaded and struggling to breathe, hands were tingling. I threw up three times in about 8 hours and then it went uh the other way for three days afterwards and I was totally fine by the weekend. I don’t take any prescription medication or have any health issues besides an allergy to penicillin, which I’ve avoided since I discovered that at age 11.

Today I was getting ready to go out and I was hit with the same hot flashes, dizziness, and tingling hands before proceeding to violently vomit for an hour straight. I feel much better now and I haven’t had any other symptoms.

It being so recent from when I last got this is concerning me a bit tbh. I’m also not used to some of the symptoms, as far as I can remember any other time I’ve had a stomach virus I just felt nauseous and weak, the tingling hands particularly are throwing me.

I will say there has been a stomach virus going around in my town. Is it possible I just caught it twice? Should I be worried about getting two stomach events like this so close together? I don’t want to make myself sicker worrying about my health but I fear I will if I don’t ask.

Thanks to any doctors who can answer!
