Being fr, I miss when mods didn’t try and push a message all the time

Feels like every mod nowadays is a game of "you didn't like it? Well, that's because I was trying to simulate the harsh struggle of DC politics and how it sucks ass and you'll never achieve anything, so you thinking my mod sucked ass because it wasn't fun and you didn't achieve anything was actually a crucial, key component of its theme" or "no, you're not supposed to like being this person and winning the election, it's actually a message on how celebrity worship is bad, actually, and your victory is just a hollow joke since people don't realize you're actually a man of skin and bone who pissed and shit in the White House lavatory like everyone else. You're not special, dickhead, fuck you."

Imo this place went from stupid people having fun to stupid people who think they're actually really smart not having fun. There's my thesis.
