Is it worth it to upgrade from 5950x to 9800x3d

Hello all. As the title states, is it worth it to upgrade your cpu from a 5950x to a 9800x3d, to take advantage of the microcenter deal that's currently ongoing. My main concerns is that my 5950x runs hotter than the average 5950x for some reason, even with a 360mm aio cooler & 10 120mm fans (50C idle, high 60's to mid 70's while gaming/under load) and I'm hoping that the 9800x3d will have lower if not similar temps while having a performance increase. This upgrade will likely cost around $800 ($400 for CPU then another $400 for a new motherboard and ram). Should I upgrade or stick to with what I current have?

Storage: 2x 2tb nvme m.2

New build will re-use the same parts minus new cpu, mobo, & ram.
