Has anyone used DermCafé for acne and scalp issues?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering using DermCafé for a virtual dermatology appointment and wanted to ask about your experiences with it.

I mainly want to consult them for:

• Hyperpigmentation and acne scars on my face

• Oily, acne-prone skin

• And most importantly, painful acne on my scalp that just won’t go away

I don’t have a family doctor, so I’d be using their in-house GP to get a referral. I’m based in Ontario and have OHIP, so I know the consult itself should be covered.

But I’m wondering:

• How was your overall experience with DermCafé?

• Were the treatments effective for face/scalp issues?

• How long did it take to get your prescription?

💸 And how much did you end up paying for the prescription(s)? Were they covered by your insurance?

Any insight would be really appreciated before I go ahead and book. Thanks in advance!
