Trade in with depreciation help
So my sister is looking to get out of her car and I am trying to help, but there is a lot of depreciation involved, so I’m weighing a lot of options.
Her car value currently sits around 33 to 35 and she owes about 42, so most likely the depreciation if possible to rollover will be around 10,000.
We visited a dealership and they do really seem to want her car as a trade-in and but it was just a preliminary discussion and we didn’t talk any numbers, we’re currently looking at any vehicle from Toyota or Hyundai from 20,000 to the $35,000 range.
What I wonder is if it’s best to buy as cheap of a car as I can and roll over the depreciation, but there are vehicles being offered at APR’s of 0% too so that seems more appealing overall.
Any advice is appreciated.
