Condenser noise/vibration
I am not in hvac business. Just a homeowner with a new hvac system that is noisier than the unit I just replaced. Forgive me for my lack of technical language when I ask this question :)
HVAC company was out yesterday to replace the compressor. The unit has gotten a little quieter since then. Today, I noticed that these (refrigerant?) lines coming from the condenser coil are touching the cabinet. I believe this could be adding to the noise/vibration issues that I am having with this new unit. 1. Do these lines have any give where they can be moved so they aren't touching the cabinet? 2. If they can't be moved, is it possible to put some type of padding between the lines that touch the cabinet and the cabinet to dull the noise and vibration? 3. If left as is, can this cause issues with the lines?
Thank you in advance for any answers you may be able to offer.
