Batman: Knightfall; I think it would make a great trilogy for the DCU

I think the Batman: Knightfall storyline would be a really good fit for the DCU.

If Superman is meant to take place several years into his career, we could do the same for Batman.

I know we've already seen Bane on screen, but we didn't actually get Knightfall. It would be great to see an experienced Batman, an older Dick Grayson branching off on his own, a just starting Tim Drake.

Knightfall could start with Bane's plan to release all the prisoners from Arkham to tire Batman out, allowing us an opportunity to see several members of his rogues' gallery. One that should definitely be included is Scarecrow, allowing us to see the nightmare of what happened to Jason Todd.

Then the movie ends on a down note with Bane's victory over Batman.

KnightQuest can introduce Azrael/Jean-Paul Valley as a foil to the injured Batman. It can compare and contrast how, even at his most brutal, Bruce Wayne never crossed the line like Jean-Paul Valley. It would be cool to see Jean-Paul Valley as he becomes increasingly violent, leading to Robin/Tim Drake's estrangement. And KnightQuest can end with Azrael's defeat of Bane, as well as Grayson and Drake finding Bruce and convincing him to return.

KnightsEnd can deal with Bruce's training under Lady Shiva and his return to form, ending with his defeat of Jean-Paul Valley
