[TOMT] This is a lifeboat charity pub! Scene from British comedy show

Posting on behalf of my partner, who's suddenly remembered part of a scene from a TV show or film in which a character walks into a pub and is told (possibly in a thick Somerset accent) 'you'd better get out of here, mat. Can't you see? This is a lifeboat charity pub!' There's possibly there is some reference to a guide dogs collection box as well? Maybe the character stole/acquired it? We're thinking it might be something along the lines of Father Ted or Black Books. We can't pin point exactly where it's from but most likely an older British TV series knowing our taste!
