Strategy for the destitute facing Grand Prix?

I will scrape up 200 gold with the daily quest later on and i already have one of these green spare tickets. I'm now in B of the first day of Grand Prix with 2/5, it was a close call, i did it at first try though. Any tips and tricks regarding the following days of Grand Prix for me and other poor players? I mean i bought the battle pass but i already finished it a few days ago and now i am under the destitute. ^^"

I mean B is not too bad, right? It seems the rewards are pretty meager from what i heard, so 750 gold seems to be better invested in 1,5 card packs i guess.
