finally college is over
A year ago, I posted a video on Instagram. It was about how I started my agency and made ₹20 lakhs in my first year. I didn’t expect much. But it crossed 100,000 views. Now, after a year, the account has 10s of millions of views and 40k followers 👍Since then, I’ve posted sporadically—design thoughts, agency updates, sometimes opinions on AI or finance. There was no niche, no grand strategy. Just a habit of sharing. And somehow, in the process, 40,000 people followed along. I got views, DMs, leads but more importantly - I got clarity.I learned that content isn’t just about reach. It’s about resonance. It’s about showing up as you are, and building trust at scale. I’ve met creators I respect, landed deals I couldn’t have imagined, and watched clients grow—like one we scaled to 10,000 followers in 3 months, all organic. I believe in marketing if you can grow yourself, you should be able to grow anyone else. It's basically proof of work.I still hesitate to call myself a “content creator.”I don’t do fancy edits. I mostly tell stories and focus on the script. And I yap 💀But over time, I’ve come to believe most successful content falls into three categories: – It entertains. – It educates. – Or it’s just... aesthetically pleasing.I aim for the second. But I’ve learned to respect the power of all three.I’m still in college. No business background. No industry connects. Just the willingness to talk on camera and see what happens. And it worked. It turned cold outreach, which I hate and suck at, into warm inbound. It made people take me seriously before my degree did. Now, I tell everyone I know: just start. Post something. You don’t need a niche when you start to have a voice.Looking ahead, I want to go deeper. – More consistent Instagram posts. – Start building a community. – Long-form breakdowns on YouTube. – More honest writing here on Reddit .College ends in 20 days. That’s been my excuse till now 😅.But not for much longer.Let’s see where year three takes us!
