About the message his parents left him…

So I just watched the Superman movie. I’ve been looking forward for it for the past 2 years now, had a lot of expectations on it (maybe a little too much) and I liked it! its a solid 7/10 for me but I had a ton of fun.

Now my nitpick is really about a detail tho it does drive a lot of the plot: The last message from Jor el and Lara to Clark.

If you watched the film you know what it says. My problem is, Does that mean Kryptonians were fucking evil?? Does that mean Kara is like, evil?? Obv not, we’ve seen a bit of her in the movie and she was just a drunk mess. But does she have that Kryptonian mentality of rule and conquer? Why didn’t Kara tell him what his actually “mission” on earth was if they already met and know one another??

Idk I find that choice a little weird bro im ngl it really threw me off guard tho I think it made that ending very sweet and full circle.

Also when number 4 was stabbing itself in the head repeatedly saying “protect superman”, who gave that order in the first place? I’m starting to think that maybe Kara did? Stay with me for a second..

What if it’s actually Kara who showed Clark the fortress when she arrived. What if she actually told the robots not to tell Clark the truth and “protect him” from that truth bc she saw how much of a human lover and good guy he actually was?

Idk man I’m just struggling with the “Kryptonian are actually evil” take in this movie. But i do believe it made the whole thing more compelling.

Any thought?
