Is their anybody that bought a V6 because they wanted a V6?

I own a RT 2010 Challenger but my friend owns a SXT+ he told me his goal was to buy the V6 so he could swap the engine out for a 6.4l engine and Tran. At first my original thought was “Why not just buy a SRT” but I guess for Insurance Purposes it’s smart. Now it has left me thinking if there is anybody that bought a v6 solely because it is a v6 and they never wanted a v8.
