Gaming Build, ~$1000
Hi! I have tried over and over to read/understand through various guides how to build a PC. I just cannot understand how you pick parts and determine what is vs isn't worth it. Maybe my brain is too smooth but there are SO many brands. I usually game on my partner's Corsair Vengeance prebuilt and I really enjoy it. I play a lot of Marvel Rivals, Baldur's Gate, co-ops like Peak, etc. My main issue that I've run into is constantly running out of storage space with 2TBs of memory. If my budget is unrealistic for what I want please let me know! I was hoping to score some deals with Amazon Prime day.
• New build or upgrade?
Brand new, I have nothing
• Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
No
• PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Exclusively gaming/discord
• Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
USA, near a Micro Center
• Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
I would like one that looks good for gaming. Second can be cheaper if they match in size, it would just be for discord/movies while gaming
• Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
Ideally around $1000, can be up to $1200
• WiFi or wired connection?
Wifi
• Size/noise constraints?
As long as it doesn't sound like a jet plane I don't really mind sound, size wise no constraint.
• Color/lighting preferences?
No lighting necessary
• Any other specific needs?
Nope!
