I have no idea how people who have to work outside do so in July here in SC.
I had a 48-minute work call just now that I don't usually have to talk during, so I went outside with a saw and cut down some invasive stuff in my backyard while listening to the meeting on my phone. By the end of that time period, I was literally feeling faint. I had to lean on a tree and then sit on the ground for a while to recover.
Keep in mind: this was almost entirely in the shade, too. So it could’ve been worse.
I just have massive respect for all the blue-collar type people who have to work outside in this beloved oven of ours.
