Joining MTECH AI & DS

Is there anything important I should know about this department or the college before joining? Should I be prepared for anything specific, or is there anything I need to know about the faculty, facilities, or academic environment?

Also, does anyone have information about the placement packages that students from the M.Tech in AI and Data Science usually receive?
