Would watching The Origin (Legends) detract from my enjoyment of the Forerunner Saga?

Reading through the Forerunner Saga, just finished Cryptum, armed with only one (massive?) spoiler:

!The Captive, or the Primordial, is the entity responsible for inflicting Mendicant Bias with the "logic plague," causing the ancilla to rebel against the Forerunners.!<

Knowing this did cast a bit of a shadow over my enjoyment of Cryptum, though I did still enjoy the book thoroughly.

I'm highly interested in The Origin, simply for the fact that it seems like it would help me picture the Forerunners better, but I'm nervous that watching it would just bring more spoilers to my attention and enlarge the already-existing shadow over my experience with Primordium and Silentium. Should I steer clear until I finish the Forerunner Saga, for the most "pure" experience possible?
