Collapse as Cause? Modeling Quantum Measurement Dynamically

Question

Hi all — I’m exploring an idea: treating quantum measurement as a causal process that triggers collapse dynamically, rather than as an axiom.

I’m thinking of defining a cause function (e.g. based on purity or entropy):

𝒞(𝑡)=1−𝑖|𝑐𝑖(𝑡)|4

and adding it to the Schrödinger equation to drive collapse smoothly when grows past a threshold.

The goal is to model measurement as an emergent, state-dependent process — linking classical cause-effect logic to quantum collapse.

Is there existing work like this? Any thoughts or critiques welcome.
