Should I buy an open box 9070XT for 5% off?

I price beat a Sapphire Nitro at my local memex. They only have one left and it was open box. They said they would take 5% off the price beat, so down to $940+GST. I asked what was the reason for it being opened and they said it appears it did not fit the clients case. Risk it or not?
