Workplace discrimination in Jeanerette La
Is this even fair? & Before I say this. I’m not racist. I just love the caucasians who love us! If your skin is black/brown & you live near Jeanerette La. Stay away from ROBIN motors. They do NOT like our kind. It’s a car dealership. They don’t loan cars to their black customers & don’t go out on the lot when they are looking to inquire about a vehicle. Ive talked to several others in the community who have experienced this with them. I don’t even understand how or why they are in located in Jeanerette La. An Employee [black] employee was fired for making a complaint about being called the N word by other [caucasian] employees. Ford Policies states that they PROHIBITS RETALIATION. They also state that you will never be discriminated against, disciplined, or penalized for having the courage to report violation of this code, but again.. a BLACK man was fired for making a complaint. This employee recorded this conversation with the boss so there’s evidence about this claim. On the audio he have-the boss himself is heard telling him “F(:$/ him” as well. Even put his hands on him. In which you hear in the recording the employee asking him to stop touching him. They recently had THREE Caucasian employees quit on them. One of them was even allegedly based on how they {caucasian employees}continued to be in the front building constantly downtalking their black employees. Also in the recording the boss is basically antagonizing him to quit, constantly telling him he wants him to quit. Letting us know it’s “HIS F*{%~^ job, he pays him& if he felt disrespected it is what it is”. Like wowwww. Which basically lets us know you’ll continue to allow the disrespect because you wanted him to quit anyway. This isn’t fair to him. He’s been with this company itself for 6 years now-Even with a brain tumor, scoliosis & being a diabetic three. Now he’s without work for doing what the EEOC & FORD policies states we should do. Share this mans story. $bosautorepairs is his cash app if you would like to help
