Vaginal sores?

A few days ago I had yeast infection symptoms so I took monistat for it. I was in a wet bathing suit for a while and then the next day a drink spilled in my lap while I was out so I didn’t have the facilities to dry my pants or change so I’m assuming that’s where it came from. Anyways most of my symptoms subsided until yesterday when I noticed an uncomfortable burning sensation on the inner right side of my vagina that also stung really bad when I peed. I looked at it and noticed what looked almost like a canker sore in that spot. This happened to me before, right after I had the flu and right now I have a slight cold so I’m wondering if the sores are related to sickness? I booked an emergency drs appointment, did a urine test and a swab. Waiting on the swab results but the urine test came back positive for a uti and a yeast infection. My mind is all over the place so any advice will be greatly appreciated lol
