PSA: Trouble with CAPTCHA thru Steam? Protip: use your net browser to make a Steam ticket, captcha works with 1 picture and 3 clicks. It works!

What a difference!

Yesterday, I tried to get past captcha to make a steam ticket on Steam itself. I had 10 pictures to go thru, many of them had picture squares which once clicked, showed up again and again and were necessary to click again and again.

Then after about a minute of click fest, traffic lights, bicycles, crosswalks.... red error message pops up, stating I failed to click correctly.

Tried it 5 times, failed every time, then got another red error message that I tried to login using this way too many times, use another method.

Errrr....

so today I just went on my internet browser, clicked that I am not a robot, a the dreaded captcha showed up.

I clicked VEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY slowly, because that might affect if the captcha is successful. In 2025..... in AI era.

But I only had to click 3 times on one picture. 10 seconds. What a difference!!!!

Got in, made my ticket, am so happy.

But it still makes me..... miffed..... that Steam Captcha is such a s..tshow.
