I really dislike some performers in audiobooks

I have seen I many tier lists Mage Errant. The history is quite good. High B or low A tier. The performer is the same from the Malazan books. I thought I did not like Malazan because of the lose way the history is told, but now I believe is because of the performer. Ralph Lister is the name. The way he stops EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE is really annoying!!! Even if I put the speed in 2x it is still bad because when he speaks the cadence is good, but every time there is an end to a sentence he stops for a full second or two, if not more in the 1x speed. It just breaks the immersion. Does anyone have similar opinion or any performer the you particularly dislike?
