Just been referred to Neurology to investigate possible seizures

Question

Hello! I’ve just joined this part of Reddit, I just want to share my experience and see if anybody relates or has any advice. I’m 20 years old, Autistic, and has anxiety and OCD. I’ve also struggled quite a bit with my physical health but never gotten to the bottom of it, on a waiting list to be assessed for EDS. Around 18 months ago, I started having an unusual reaction to flashing lights, a bit before that they had made me extremely uncomfortable and anxious, way more than I’m used to with overstimulation. However, I noticed a big change when I went to a concert where they had strobe lights, I lost my ability to think, I found it hard for a sentence, I lost the grip in my hands and was struggling to process anything in front of me. I told my partner something was wrong and she helped me get out of the crowd. It honestly just felt like I was overstimulated and very dissociated. But these reactions have only been getting worse, starting to react to high-pitched repetitive noises, and had a similar reaction after a panic attack where I hyperventilated (on this occasion, my hands and legs fully contracted, I was blinking very fast which I was unaware of and my entire body was numb) I never lose consciousness, but it’s like my head is floating, it feels like the electric shocks in my brain. My hands go numb and occasionally, my fingers rub together without me really being able to do anything about it, I’ve been told that my eyes flutter and I go very pale. I find it incredibly hard for a sentence during an episode, though most of the time I can and I am able to walk will be able to process enough to get myself out of the situation. I got advised to go to the doctors a few months ago, so I did and they basically ignored me but I went again today and they put in an urgent referral to neurology. I guess I’m just looking to see if anybody has had the same experience or if this sounds like it could be epilepsy or something else?
