Do you guys think that romantic relationships feel Rushed and underdeveloped in The Waltons

Do you guys think that romantic relationships in The Waltons feel rushed and underdeveloped. like outside of Ben and Cindy and Olivia and John and Grandpa and Grandma and Ike and Corabeth and Mary Ellen and jonsey.

Like outside of those relationships all the other relationships on the show feel underdeveloped and rushed. like they'll introduce a character and then she or she will disappear and then we'll come back mainly the guy will propose and then disappear never to be seen again.

characters will just want to get married despite not really knowing each other like that and not developing their relationship or developing any chemistry between them. it just feels so rushed do anybody feel the same way or am I wrong.
