Life has been testing me lately, and I just needed to share
Hi everyone. I’m 32 years. Life has felt like a constant uphill battle, and I’m doing my best to stay grounded.
Last year, my mother developed severe heart complications caused by high blood pressure. I used up all my savings trying to get her the best medical care, but sadly, she passed away in September. The grief has been immense, and financially, it left me starting from zero.
Earlier this year in March, I had an argument with my husband and he asked me to leave. I’ve been staying with a kind friend ever since. At the time, I was two months pregnant, but with all the stress and uncertainty, I suffered a miscarriage. That experience has left a deep emotional mark.
Since then, I’ve had a persistent brown discharge that has worried me, but given my current situation, I’ve not been able to get the proper follow-up care. I also left my laptop behind when I moved out, and since I am a freelancer by profession, it has been difficult to find any steady work.
My friend has done her best to support me, even helping with personal essentials like hygiene items. I’m grateful, but I can feel the strain it’s placing on her. I want to rebuild my life with dignity, contribute meaningfully, and regain the independence I once had.
I hold a diploma in analytical chemistry and have always been committed to learning and growing, even during hard times. These past few months have tested me in every way, but I still hold on to the belief that brighter days are possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
