Background, severe periodontal disease, crooked ugly teeth, by bite was so off. Nothing really worth saving. 33 with 2 kids. I don’t think my pregnancies made my teeth work, by parents just quite literally never took me as a child.

I found the denture community on tiktok and felt encouraged that there was so many young people taking their lives into their hands and bettering their health. Even though it’s scary and hard. I wanted to show my kids I can do scary things too. I wanted to smile and be in photos and videos with them.

$26k later - here we are. Walked into the office and got IV sedation. Don’t remember anything. It felt like my eyes were open and I knew it was dental work happening but I wouldn’t feel anything. I felt coming out of sedation was rushed, getting into the wheelchair and then my boyfriend’s truck felt so rushed. My vision wasn’t clear, couldn’t really talk yet or confirm anything. (Maybe that’s normal?) I felt so motion sick and puked once I was in my boyfriend’s truck. I’m not sure if seeing me puke blood or me being out of it threw him off but this mf’er walked into the office for another puke bag and passed tf out hahahah. Thank god for my nurses and my dentist. He literally made sure aaron got stable again, drove our truck across the road and paid for a hotel room so we didn’t have to drive an hour back home.

We stayed the night and then had my 24 hour check up and everything seems good so far. I’m bad home and feeling okay. They feel bulky right now, but I expected that. It feels incredible to be able to smile again. I used to only have a “good side” because it looked less crooked and now it just looks nice from every angle 😭😭😭

Currently binge watching criminal minds so drop any questions if you have them. Please be kind and don’t tell me they’re ugly hahahha
