Brand new Xiegu G90 or used Icom IC-7300 as first HF radio?

So, I'm getting my general soon, and I'd like to know whether or not to buy a brand new Xiegu G90 as my first HF radio, or if I should spend a lot more money on a used Icom IC-7300.

I was originally just gonna get the G90, but I've heard people say 20w can be frustrating at times. Then again, a used 7300 will cost me $750-850, and my budget is around $900 for the radio and some basic items like an antenna and power supply.

I'm probably gonna primarily use either one just in my room or out on my balcony with an EFHW, so I'm not entirely sure if I need a smaller/more portable radio.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm still fairly new to all this stuff.
