Can You Split Hours Unevenly in a Seasonal Remote CSR Role?
Hi all!
I’m currently in the background check stage for a seasonal remote customer service role with a large company. The role is full-time, and during busy season you’re expected to work 40 hours a week, plus potential overtime.
I'm a full-time college student, and I’m wondering if anyone knows whether these types of roles usually allow flexibility in how those 40 hours are scheduled?
I’d like to work 12-hour shifts some days and then shorter 6–7 hour shifts on my class-heavy days to make up the full 40 hours each week.
Has anyone done something similar or seen flexibility like this in similar seasonal remote roles? Or are shifts usually expected to be 8 hours daily?
Thanks so much!
