I few questions about X Change lore and game.

Where did the X Change storyline start? I’ve found a few books, but they are from different people. Where did this story start? Which storyline does the game use?

Also besides the wiki is there any good walkthrough for the game? The wiki yields lots of info but it’s kind of scattered. Is there a better walkthrough for different story types?
