[TOMT][Song][1980s-90s] A hard rock song with lyrics, “I need you,” or “I need love,” in the chorus.

Pending

I’ve heard this one song on an oldies station a handful of times and I never bothered to Shazam it or write lyrics. It’s been stuck in my head for months, and every time I try to search for it, no relevant answer comes up. Not even humming or mumbling the words works.

This song is most likely from the 1980s or 1990s because that’s when songs like these were popular. It sounds like Def Leppard, but it’s not Def Leppard. All I know is that the verses are sung almost like actual talking (with an occasional double) and the chorus has multiple band members repeating, “I need you,” or, “I need love,” or something similar to those words, and the front of the band sings the rest of the line. Essentially, it’s the, “I need,” line, then the following line, then the, “I need,” line, so on and so forth. The chorus is short, only like four lines, and the radio version, if I’m not mistaken, is short as well.

The band seems to have an all-male cast, including the lead singer who has a deeper voice than the rest. The BPM I think is around the 110-120 range. That’s all the information I have. Hopefully someone knows what I’m referring to because I’ve been looking for months.
