Dog Euthanasia

My dog has been struggling with a collapsed trachea for years now, the past 12 or so months he’s coughing more than he’s not. Daytime, night time, walking, almost anytime he’s not laying still/asleep the poor dude is coughing and at times panting.

He has torn ligaments in both back knees and arthritis, a pinched nerve in his shoulder, he can hardly hear anymore, he often loses his balance walking due to muscle loss in his back legs and this leads to falls. He will be 15 this fall and as hard as it is to accept, I recognize that his good days are often outnumbered by the bad days, though I still see that excitement he once had all the time shine through.

I’ve never had to do this before, are there services you recommend? Someone you’ve used in the past?
