New pickup

So I was sold on either a new gmc or Chevy 5.3 yesterday I test drove the 3.0 ram and honestly it drove so much nicer much more comfortable I’ve heard a lot of horror story’s about the truck and it not being reliable any truth to it or is it a pretty solid truck?
