Degeer street and Boychuk Drive

Anybody know why there was just 1 police car hanging out at Degeer and Boychuk. We went all the way around some streets to get back to Boychuk and saw there was just a policeman looking at his computer doing something. Just curious. It took us like 10 minutes to get through that intersection.
