Ubisoft Is Sleeping on Assassin’s Creed Jade This Game Could Be HUGE

So… I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed for years. Not all of them, but most of the major ones. Origins is honestly one of my all-time favorites — I played the hell out of that game and still go back to it sometimes. But here’s the weird part: I literally found out about Assassin’s Creed Jade by total accident. I was chatting with ChatGPT asking for mobile games like AC, and it casually mentioned Jade. That was the first time I’d ever heard the name. And I was like… wait, what? There’s an actual AC open-world game coming to mobile?! How is this not being talked about more? So I started digging, and wow — this game sounds insane (in a good way): Set in ancient China — totally fresh setting. Feels like Origins/Odyssey gameplay-wise. Full open-world RPG. Free-to-play. Online multiplayer with friends! But here’s the catch: There’s barely any marketing. No open beta, no major trailers, and the closed beta was so quiet that most people didn’t even know it happened. That feels like a huge missed opportunity, especially when you realize there’s nothing else like this on mobile. Why I think this could blow up (if Ubisoft actually promotes it): No real AC-style mobile competitor: stealth, parkour, story? Nope. Free-to-play means MASSIVE potential audience. Online co-op could finally bring that “play AC with friends” dream.

Visually, it looks like a toned-down Origins — and it could run well on mid-range phones. Monetization? Still a win for Ubisoft

They can still make tons of money without ruining the experience: Battle Passes for seasonal content. Skins and gear for outfits, hidden blades, mounts, etc. Legendary cosmetics or gear that are super rare.

Maybe even player-to-player trading with a small cut for Ubisoft (like CS:GO or Diablo III style).

Imagine getting a rare assassin armor set that no one else in your squad has. That stuff sells. TL;DR – Everyone wins Players get a real AC experience on mobile, free, and online. Ubisoft gets sustainable income from cosmetics + engagement. The AC community grows, and we finally get a proper mobile entry It just feels like Assassin’s Creed Jade deserves way more attention than it’s getting right now. I really hope Ubisoft doesn’t just let it fade into obscurity. The potential is crazy. Anyone here try the closed beta or seen gameplay? Would love to hear your thoughts
