Are live resin carts that much better than distillate?

I switched to distillate carts about a year ago, and only noticed slightly less effects. However, lately I’ve been yearning for more of a high, more similar to flower.

Live resin carts are $30 for a .5, and distillates are $30 for a gram, so it’s twice the price. Is it really that much better?
