A few questions from a neo geo noob

Hello, I've recently purchased my first Neo Geo, but I'd appreciate some help with a few questions before I plug it in.

The console is a Neo-0 model, and it came with a Neo-Pow3 power supply. The guy I got it from claims that all the cables are original, but I know you can fry some consoles with the wrong power supply, so I wanted to make sure that thia Neo-Pow3 is indeed the correct supply, mostly because THE sticker on the back of the conole says "Use Pro-Pow3 only".

The other question I have is, I'm planning on buying a JapanGamesOnline MVS converter and 161-in-1 cart, but I've heard they can have troubles if your AES doesn't have enough power. How can I best determine if my AES will be compatible with these items before buying them?
