Free Heater

Co-worker had sauna in his house that has been used a closet since they moved in years ago. Gave me the heater for free. Its a Metos Suomi and looks old as hell. Works fine and has all the things. 120v 2200w. The placard lists the minimum room requirements, but I'm wondering whats too big of a room for this heater. Not looking to build a 600 sq ft room or anything but would this stove work for a 8x8 room with 8ft ceilings? Trying to decide what to build. Thanks!
